For me, adventure means escaping the crowds to explore places of beauty that are some of the last truly wild places on our planet: canyons.\nFor millions of years, water has carved out rock creating those natural playgrounds. Imagine hiking into the wilderness, wading into crystal clear freshwater, shooting down soft rock slides, jumping into natural pools, and rappelling down majestic waterfalls.\n\nLess crowded, still wild with stunning views, Abraham lake country hosts some of the most amazing canyons in the Rockies right outside of Banff National Park! \nCome explore the hidden pockets of fresh falling water among the hills near Nordegg, AB. I guarantee that you will get a healthy dose of adventure and will make memories that will last a lifetime.\n\nThis 5 to 6 hours trip is for those who have never been Canyoning before or only a few times and are willing to live a full-on canyoning experience. \nYou should be in good physical condition. No need for previous rope or swift water experience.\n\nYou should be comfortable with heights and being able to swim, though we can have a few people in a group that are less at ease and want to challenge themselves. \nAll jumps and slides can be avoided by rappelling them (if the canyon has these).\n\nBe prepared to be wet during the whole descent!\n\nI guide a multitude of canyons that allow operating during most of the season. I usually plan the trip the day before the tour and decide on the best canyon for you. I consider your skills, expectations, current canyon conditions, and the weather forecast. Be aware that Canyoning is a weather-dependent activity though, same as most of the other outdoor activities. We have no means to predict far ahead or to change the weather. We reserve the right to cancel the trip anytime for your own safety and the one of the guides. We will reimburse or reschedule your trip if we need to cancel.","included":"- A fully certified and experienced Canyoning Guide\n- High-quality, Canyoning specific Equipment\n- Wetsuit to keep you warm (5mm Long-John and Jacket + 2mm shorty + Neoprene gloves and socks)\n- Canyoning harness\n- Helmet\n- Group gear (ropes, bags, first aid, bear spray, gear)","notIncluded":"What to bring:\n- Ideal outfit for your day is light hiking clothing adapted to the current conditions in the Rockies (Multiple wool or synthetic layers. You can bring gopros, a phone or a waterproof camera at your own risk.","guestRequirements":"- Good physical shape\n- Minimum age 14\n- Tell me the day before if you are scared of height or if you can't swim. I found a balance between water sports and verticality in it. I also like the team aspect of our discipline and the way we can use the skills of every member to all go further in our progression.\n\nI was lucky to meet the Canadian pioneers of Canyoning in the Rockies when I arrived in 2016 and have the opportunity to get involved. Professionally but also by exploring new Canyons recreationally and accomplishing first descents.\n\nToday I am glad to be part of a team of passionate who want to share their love for those places and our way to travel through them. I offer trips for amusement but I also love sharing what I have learned if clients are interested. About the environment, the ropes, the swimming, the gear, etc.\nYou want to learn specific canyoning technic and go canyoning on your own with friends!? It is possible with a good training. There are plenty of routes already developed and I am more than happy to help our community growing in a responsible manner :)\n\nHere is a small taste of where the sport could lead you:\nhttps://mountainculturegroup.com/alpine-canyoning-mount-robson-canada/","location":"Field, BC","languages":"English, Spanish, French","referralCode":null,"birthDate":null,"address":null,"emergencyContact":{"id":4026,"name":"JP Kors","email":"chephren@telus.net ","phoneNumber":"2509398628"},"phoneNumber":"********5336","countryCodePhoneNumber":"1"},"guestProfile":{"id":2134,"stripeCustomerId":null,"averageRating":null,"reviewCount":0},"hostProfile":{"id":2134,"stripeAccountId":null,"company":null,"certificates":[],"averageRating":4.952381,"reviewCount":21},"userSettings":null,"quickBloxUserId":null,"verifiedBy":"email","intercom":null,"profileComplete":null,"authType":null,"reviewed":false},"createdDate":1583469645000,"featured":false,"allowsPhoneInquiry":false,"popularScore":160,"lastEdited":1657071326000,"priceScheme":{"1":400,"2":251.43,"3":240,"4":234.29,"5":228.57,"6":222.86,"7":222.86,"8":222.86,"9":222.86,"10":222.86,"11":222.86,"12":222.86},"availabilityCutoff":86400000,"requestBuffer":72,"localPercentWidgetBookings":95,"difficultyLevel":{"id":2,"name":"Moderate"},"skillLevel":{"id":2,"name":"Intermediate"},"googleThingsToDoRelatedLocations":[""],"favorite":false}
